Loving this version of Bernie's! We used to come all the time when we first moved here in 2007 (with and without kids) and then a few years ago new owners tried to turn it into a hip cool drinking place (with the most uncomfortable seating ever!) instead of a warm friendly neighborhood place. Went back tonight with a friend and was so pleasantly surprised! The chairs were comfortable again, the food was unpretentious but well made, and the service was good too! The manager/owner Gobi (hope I'm spelling that correctly!) stopped by to introduce himself and make sure we were well taken care of. He's a really lovely guy! Definitely going to be one of our hangouts again! So glad we gave it a try!

A phenomenal burger spot with a multitude of TVs perfect for any game day. The only thing I’ll say is that their menu is a bit pricey, and happy hour sort of just brings everything to a normal price rather than a deal. Other than that the food and beer was great, and the service was fantastic!

Walking in, I honestly didn't expect much. The atmosphere is pretty standard bar fair, but the music was thankfully on the quieter side. I had heard from a few people I had spoken to that the food was better than you'd expect from a place like this, and honestly I was pleasantly surprised. The food was very good. I ordered the Weinershnitzel with a side of fries. The shnitzel and sauce was absolutely spot on, and the fries were as close to 'inoffensively perfect' as I can imagine to describe. They are your standard fried potatoes and salt, so don't expect anything special, but the execution was spot on. I highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the area.

I absolutely love this place! My colleagues and I come here after a hard day/week and let our hair down. The people are so nice they make you feel like they’ve known you all your life even if it’s just your second visit. The food is delicious! The drinks are on point! The prices can’t be beat...especially during happy hour. It’s always good vibes when I go.

We love coming to Thirsty Bernie. We come regularly and have a great experience each time. We come primarily for the amazing people that work here. Emilio, Cesar and Ernesto are the best, they make you feel at home and are very efficient. The food is excellent. A burger, fries and ranch are a typical go to. Happy hour outside on the patio at Thirstys is one of my favorite places to spend time in Arlington.

All the food we ordered was very delicious, the TV setup for watching sports was excellent with 360 degree viewing around the room, and our host/server could not have been friendlier, even chatting us up at the end of our meal. This gem is worth the visit for the food alone (get the Bavarian Bites!), and that makes it all the more ideal a gathering place for watching a big game.

This is place is awesome! I've heard some mixed things - and from a trusted friend said that the place used to be pretty inconsistent. That being said, they really seemed to have turned things around! Food is great, I'd describe it as fancy bar food. The staff was great when I was there, and the interior was pretty cool. Lots of TV's and a cool giant island table. Definitely will be coming back.
